Scouting has a home for everyone, regardless of age. First Presbyterian offers a diverse range of activities for youth, and to make it possible, we need both active and behind-the-scenes adults. We welcome applications from adults of all ages and activity levels, and provide training and youth protection guidelines. You don't need to have a child in the program to participate.
For the safety of our youth, please contact the unit leaders to schedule a visit. They will give you specific details about the time and place.
Cub Scouts is an organization for elementary-aged children who are divided into dens based on their grade level. Dens meet twice a month and all elementary ages come together as a Pack once a month, on Mondays.

Founded in 1928, this troop is exclusively for males aged 11 to 18. We conduct weekly meetings and monthly camping trips throughout the year. Additionally, we organize service activities, hikes, and various other day events along with meetings and campouts. Our program offers many choices, allowing youth to continue their participation in other activities while still advancing in their ranks. Currently, the troop's most popular activities are summer camp and water-focused campouts.

Our troop is a newly established organization, founded in December 2021, dedicated to female scouts between the ages of 11 and 18. Our troop offers a wide range of year-round activities, similar to those provided to our male counterparts. The requirements for female scouts are identical to those for male scouts. We are an active troop with a range of exciting activities that cater to the needs of every scout. Our scouts particularly enjoy camping, horseback riding, and hiking.

This unit is designed for young people between the ages of 14 and 21, regardless of gender. It is entirely youth-led, with adult leaders only providing guidance. This approach allows the young people to develop their leadership skills and learn how to manage complex tasks and schedules. Since the members are older, they can participate in more high-adventure activities such as rock climbing, caving, shooting sports, and kayak treks. The group decides as a team what they want to do and explore. You can also contribute your ideas and help shape the direction of the group if you choose to join. The group meets as often as they want, with bi-monthly meetings and additional fun events currently on the calendar.
