We are pleased that you are considering joining Troop 215. We hope that you will find your time with Troop 215 a rewarding and, most of all, fun experience in which to continue or begin your Scouting adventure.

We suggest that a prospective scout visit our Troop Meetings before deciding to join the Troop. This will allow you and your parents to see how the Troop operates before joining. Once you decide to join us, then you will need to fill out an application form which can be obtained from the Troop Scoutmaster. Once the application is filled out, it needs to be submitted to the ScoutMaster with the applicable fees. Until the application with registration fees is submitted to the Council Office, we can not permit a boy to attend any campouts or other activities for insurance reasons.

Parents, scouting is a family activity – there are opportunities and expectations for you as well.

Our charter organization, First Presbyterian of Anderson, SC has a long, proud history of supporting scouting. First Presbyterian is currently sponsoring:

  • Cub Scout Pack 41 which is for youths in the 1st through 5th Grade, Cub scouts offer a family-centered introduction to scouting.
  •  Venture Crew 215 which is for young men and women ages 14 to 21, Venturing offers high adventure, friendship, leadership, and service.
  • Troop 315 is an all-female troop for girls that are 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old.
