Troop 215 information
Who We Are
Troop 215 is chartered by the First Presbyterian Church of Anderson, South Carolina, and has been serving Anderson and surrounding areas since 1928. We currently have over 50 active scouts and recently honored our 159th Eagle Scout.
In December 2021, First Presbyterian Church chartered an all-female troop, Troop 315. Troop 315 currently has over 20 active scouts and they are working diligently towards Eagle Rank.
What We Do
Troop meetings are at Jack Seel Scout & Centennial Scout Hut, 413 West Whitner Street, Anderson, South Carolina 29624, every Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (map).
There are Patrol meetings and additional activities throughout the year.
We believe Scouting should emphasize outdoor activities which are fun and rewarding. Troop 215 will engage in at least one outdoor activity (camp-outs, hikes, backpacking) every month. A list of the types of activities we participate in can be found here.
